Exhibiting at Two Before Ten near the City

I am delighted to have been extended an offer to display my work at the lovely little cafe Two Before Ten in Dickson ACT. In part two of Nordic Echo (Encore) remaining pieces not sold at the Front Gallery, have found their way onto the walls of this relaxed viewing environment. After an easy install, a great coffee, and a chat with the friendly team, we headed off for art deliveries - no rest for a part-time artist.

We chose to leave some of the bigger works in the studio given the single lineal wall space, and I am also running low on my petite framed canvas board art. The display focuses instead on some substantial yet compact pieces, either wrapped on the edges for multi-dimensionality or framed in gorgeous sustainable Tasmanian oak.

Given the show's emphasis on place and light, it was great to see them under different lights and in a space, I would describe as modern, inviting and more casual than a traditional gallery environment. It is also phenomenal to see this chain of cafes supporting the Canberra arts community. What a wonderful way to get new, rotating art on their walls, whilst also supporting creators, who are usually running their own small business. I am truly grateful.
